Goals: inversions and triads in keys Procedure:
- check homework--any you had trouble with, and any that are different from what we talked about?
- Eg. #1 CM (mm. 3-4, m. 8 etc.)
- Intro to figured bass--use figured bass (intervals above a bottom melody) to write music, then analyze to figure out triads, then to figure out inversions

- inversion symbols are figured bass without alterations
- Analyze real music using figured bass, pop-chord symbols, and inversion
- Go back to the clarinet etudes and add the next bunch of analysis
- If time expected triads in minor (see Monday)
